SIS at Todoroki Ryokuchi: Songs That Continued Through the Rain
DATE2025.05.06

On 6 May 2025, Kawasaki’s Todoroki Ryokuchi held a particular energy despite rain. At Nikumatsuri, a food festival bringing meat specialists and local restaurants together, SIS/T, including KANO MIYU, performed a mini live.

Atmosphere and Intimacy in the Rain

Rain on the final day reduced attendance but created a chance to experience the artists at close range. With umbrellas and rainwear, spectators watched detailed performances from the front, turning the wet live set into a special memory.

Outdoor appeal exceeded physical proximity. Singing amid raindrops and responses from wet grass created an immersion unlike an indoor city venue.

Preparation and Rehearsal

The members arrived an hour before the 2 p.m. start, rehearsing briefly in casual clothes and checking sound and movement for the conditions.

Some fans prepared food and drinks. Coordinating with organizers to pass meat dishes through management was another scene joining festival and concert.

The live appearance offered a layered experience of food and music. Rain, cooking aromas and musical energy combined into a sensory encounter beyond a concert alone.

A Memory Shaped by Weather

This set combined rain and an outdoor setting, a food festival and SIS/T’s live performance. Limited attendance, proximity and wet-weather immersion made it memorable.

Even within half an hour, it offered a one-time experience of direct connection and the entire festival atmosphere, demonstrating SIS/T’s ability to maintain engagement despite the conditions.
