KANO MIYU and sis join the Korea–Japan death match

TV CHOSUN scheduled its eighth episode on February 13, 2026 as a Lunar New Year Korea–Japan death match. Sis, the group in which KANO MIYU performs, joined Team Japan alongside Utagokoro Rie and chay.

Kim Yeon-ja and Yoko Takahashi led the Korean and Japanese teams. Soloists and a group shared the line-up; Korea brought together the top seven from Mister Trot 3 and top three from Miss Trot 3.

From individual stages to a group credit

Office Walker’s official history records Miyu’s 2024 MBN appearances in Korea–Japan King of Singers and Korea–Japan Top Ten Show. Entries from that year and the next also carry sis. Individual introductions in Korea sit alongside continuing group work.

The special introduces sis under its group name. A viewer who knows Miyu through MBN can also encounter the group in which she performs.

The performers appearing together

The official episode announcement names Rie, chay and both captains. New participants join returning Mister Trot Japan performers for the rematch.

Miyu and sis belong within that line-up: a singer encountered through Korean–Japanese music programmes continues group activities on another broadcast.
