KANO MIYU at Canal City Hakata: A Mini Live and NHK Coverage
DATE2025.06.22

On 22 June 2025 at central Fukuoka’s Canal City Hakata, SIS/T artist KANO MIYU performed a mini live while NHK Fukuoka reported and filmed. Media coverage joined fan activity; the hometown-area setting made the local response particularly warm.

Sales and Priority Admission

Sales started at 10:30 a.m., offering SIS/T’s first release, “Ai no Battery,” and preorders for the unreleased second, “DING DONG Kudasai.” Shipping restrictions meant some overseas fans needed Japanese addresses to order.

Priority admission used random numbers allocated during purchase. Fans selected positions in number order, with earlier numbers securing closer places. Random allocation preserved fairness; small exchanges and offers between fans added interaction. Anticipation and nerves helped build energy before the show.

Venue and Fan Atmosphere

The outdoor venue connects with the shopping complex and has partial roofing to limit disruption from showers. Fans of different ages gathered early, combining hometown enthusiasm with orderly behavior.

NHK filming meant artist–fan interactions could be recorded for television. The prospect of closer encounters and simultaneous filming brought a mixture of expectation and tension.

The Mini Live

Starting at noon, Miyu performed these five songs.

Running order

  1. ANGEL NIGHT
  2. Ai no Battery (Japanese version)
  3. DING DONG ください
  4. Ruriiro no Chikyu
  5. Re:Road

Clear weather gave way to a sudden shower midway. Some seats were sheltered, allowing the show to continue uninterrupted. The rain even made the visual distance from the stage feel closer.

Brief remarks between songs strengthened engagement. “DING DONG Kudasai” and her own “Re:Road” unfolded in a calm, expressive atmosphere, impressing newcomers as well as established fans. Applause and cheers created a responsive flow throughout.

Post-show Fan Activities

High-fives, autographs and two-person photographs followed in that order. NHK continued filming, and the atmosphere was calmer and steadier than usual. Fans met the artist directly; some moments were recorded for broadcast.

Staff maintained order and smooth contact, making the occasion an experience beyond watching a performance.

NHK Interviews

Some fans were interviewed for around ten minutes about the show, its hometown significance, musical appeal, differences between Korean and Japanese activities and future direction. Their comments became broadcast material, illustrating links between performance, fandom and media.

Performance, Media and Fandom Together

The event combined an outdoor mini live, fan activities and television reporting. A hometown setting, filming and close encounters added meaning beyond the songs.

Partial shelter, orderly enthusiasm and broadcast coordination offered a useful example of combining pacing, participation and media interaction within a short event.

Looking Back

Miyu’s appearance brought together fan participation, close artist–audience contact and broadcast filming. The outdoor setting, hometown connection, NHK presence and fan activities worked organically to intensify the atmosphere.

It suggested possibilities for locally rooted performances, fan-experience design and broadcast-linked events. The immediacy created by artist, fans and media in one place offers a reference for future planning.
