KANO MIYU Connects Two Anime Themes — Change Street Episode11

The two songs KANO MIYU sings in episode11 lead to different works. “Moonlight Densetsu” recalls Sailor Moon; “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” recalls Neon Genesis Evangelion. Their original screens differ, but one singer brings them together within the same programme.
ENA’s official clip identifies the broadcast as March 13, 2026. The programme channel also publishes separate full performances of both songs. A stage encountered through an excerpt can be revisited through each complete song.

A song can bring its original images first
With a familiar theme, remembered images sometimes arrive before attention reaches the current singer. A title and melody can recall a whole work. A cover need not demand that this memory change; it adds a present in which the remembered song continues in another voice.
Together, the tracks reveal differences within anime music. Songs recalling different characters and stories enter one repertoire. Rather than combining them into undifferentiated bright nostalgia, consider which work’s feeling returns with each.
The memory is older; the performance is present
A familiar original can become the automatic standard for any new singer. Yet a cover also rewards hearing differences without immediately converting them into rankings. Another person singing the same words can alter their distance from a listener.
These performances invite movement between two songs rather than a single description of Miyu’s vocal personality. Remember the original work, then attend to the present voice. The arrival of another work’s memories after the first song ends is part of hearing them together.
