Official Hige Dandism released “I LOVE…” as a single on February 12, 2020; it is the theme for the TBS drama Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo. The ellipsis can be read as opening scenes after a confession rather than stopping it. Loving someone changes not only a relationship, but also how the familiar world is received.

The world after loving one person

When familiar views and ordinary objects become occasions to remember someone, love becomes a perspective on the surroundings as well as a feeling toward one person. One’s own words and habits can acquire new meanings. The open title of “I LOVE…” offers a place that does not explain all that change in a sentence. Scenes to add keep arriving after the declaration.

Vivid color does not erase inferiority

The words, written and composed by Satoshi Fujihara, include paint spreading within a tank of water. Color gives a visible form to a change that makes the previous state impossible to maintain after someone arrives. Paint does not remain a small point; it alters its surroundings. The opening sensation of loving one person and seeing daily life beyond them differently becomes concrete in that image.

Vivid color, however, does not remove every dark part of the self. Moments of failing to understand the other person and feelings of inferiority remain. The relationship can be read as mutual recognition within uncertainty rather than perfectly identical emotional experience. More than a larger compliment can therefore follow the ellipsis. It opens time to continue speaking while revealing an awkward self before someone who appears beautiful.

An intimate statement expands in sound

Following the fuller sound and Satoshi Fujihara’s vocal together gives the impression of a confession spreading outward. Earlier caution must remain for the later large voice to sound like a continuation of the same feeling. An ear remembering the drama and one bringing private daily life can meet within that flow. What fills the space after the title is less a single answer than life continuing to change after the words have been said.
