Trot Girls Japan’s First Japanese Concert: From Television to the Stage

Trot Girls Japan’s performers held their first Japanese concert, Kawa no Nagare no Yoni, at Tokyo’s Club eX on 30 March. The sold-out show brought joy and emotion to fans, marking the project’s Japanese popularity through varied performances by members active in both countries.
MIRAI FUKUDA, RIE UTAGOKORO, MAKOTO., AIKO SUMIDA, KIM SOHEE, natsuco and KANO MIYU, also known through Korean programs Korea–Japan King of Singers and Hanil Top Ten Show, joined RIHOKO TARA, AI ASAHI and JURI. All ten met enthusiastic fans, bringing accumulated effort onto the stage.
Units played an important role. SIS/T met high expectations, with individual solo appearances also showing distinctive styles. Atlantis Kitsune received an enthusiastic response with “Omona!” too.

Solos revisited their activities: RIE UTAGOKORO sang “Dokeshi no Sonnet”; AIKO SUMIDA, “Gingiragin ni Sarigenaku”; MIRAI FUKUDA, “Watashi no Uta”; KANO MIYU, “Oneway Generation”; MAKOTO., “Julia ni Heartbreak”; and natsuco, “Ai no Sanka.” These representative selections shared their musical identity with fans.
Songs familiar from Fuji Television’s Japan round of Korea–Japan King of Singers returned to strong applause. RIE UTAGOKORO’s “Tsubasa” and “White Love” by MIRAI FUKUDA, MAKOTO., AIKO SUMIDA and KANO MIYU especially resonated, reaffirming their appeal.
JURI, AI ASAHI and RIHOKO TARA also returned to individual stages with distinctive arrangements and moving singing. Miyu’s “Hello, Tokyo” expressed her particular sensibility and brought Japanese fans closer, suggesting further scope for activity in Japan.

After the first concert, continued unit and solo activity across Japan and Korea was planned. A stronger connection with Japanese audiences raised expectations for further growth.
Beyond concerts, the project serves as a cultural bridge, bringing feeling and enjoyment to fans in both countries. Enthusiasm strengthened by this show could help sustain its future development.
