About CROSSWAVE

CROSSWAVE EDITION is a global arts and culture magazine documenting cultural currents across borders and connecting people with creative work.

Beginning with cultural exchange between Korea and Japan, we look towards music, performance, film and art around the world. We follow the moments when a song finds a new voice on a stage abroad, or a work meets an audience in an unfamiliar city. Our role is to bring readers stories that language and distance have kept out of reach.

Alongside introducing works and performances, we explore creative journeys, the context behind a work and the stories that unfold in person. Our attention extends from familiar names to artists building their own worlds in small venues and on street stages.

PREVIEW introduces upcoming performances and works. REVIEW records what we see and hear through concrete scenes. FEATURE takes a closer look at artists and their work through interviews, in-depth stories and criticism. We aim to leave records worth returning to and help readers discover new work and new artists.
